My ancestors are the heart of everything I do. They are the foundation of my WHY—those who came before me, whose strength, resilience, and wisdom continue to guide me every single day. From my great-grandmother, who serves as my spirit guide, to my Mimi, their love and teachings have woven a rich tapestry of knowledge that flows through me.
This photo, captured for my honoree feature in Hundred Magazine, is a powerful symbol of my connection to these incredible women. In it, you see my great-grandmother and my Mimi—two women who have shaped the very essence of who I am. Though I never had the chance to meet my great-grandmother in this lifetime, I feel her presence, and her spirit continues to guide me in everything I do.
Honoring my ancestors, and all those who have come before me, is woven into every part of my life and my work. I honor them not only through my own healing and growth but also through the work I do with other women. Every session, every interaction, every act of service is an offering to them—a way of carrying forward their legacy of love, strength, and wisdom.
Through my daily work, I empower others to connect with their own truths and honor the ancestral wisdom that runs through them as well. It is through this sacred work—healing, self-discovery, and transformation—that I fulfill my mission to serve, not just myself, but the generations of women who are ready to step into their fullest expression, just as I have been called to do.
Where it all began...
Embracing the Cosmic Shift: A Journey of Healing, Empowerment, and Sisterhood
My journey with Cosmic Flora Crystal Co. and its visionary owner, Shonna Chiles, began in October 2021, when I attended my first women’s sensual Moon circle. It was in that sacred space that I met Shonna, and little did I know that our connection would become a profound catalyst in my path of healing and empowerment.
At that circle, I began shedding layers of shame and guilt, embracing my authentic self, and stepping into my visibility. Shonna's energy—radiating empowerment, goddess wisdom, and sisterly love—has been a guiding light throughout my transformation. She has created a community where women can thrive in their highest expressions, and it is in this space that I found my calling.
In February 2022, Shonna invited me to be a vendor at one of the Rock the Block events at Cosmic Flora. It was there that the spark of creating manifestation jars ignited within me, leading to the birth of my apothecary and unleashing a creative flow that continues to this day.
As Cosmic Flora evolved into Shakti House OKC, a women’s empowerment studio, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside this space. Over time, my roles naturally expanded, and today, I proudly serve as the retail and events manager at Cosmic Flora, as well as the residential Reiki practitioner, sound practitioner, and women’s ceremony facilitator at Shakti House OKC.
Shonna has not only been a mentor but also a soul sister, guide, and friend. Our blossoming relationship has enriched my life, both personally and professionally. Together, we continue to hold space for the healing and growth of the incredible women who walk through our doors.
